Prayer Requests

Deeply Wounded Marrige/Family
Submitted By:Robert Vasquez Jr
Prayer Request:Please pray for me and my family of 6. My wife an I are at a pivotal point in our marriage. She has done so many unspeakable things that damages the sacrament of marriage and after dishonoring me for 13 yrs, she has finally chosen to change and get help. Now, I am unsure of continuing to be her husband. The wounds are so deep and I feel I am constantly bleeding inside. I am unsure if I can really forgive and trust as God expects of us to do. I know as a catholic husband (married by the church), I am supposed to love her as God loves His church and die for my wife, but she wasn't honoring her part of the bargain, even before God. We have 5 daughters, but we lost our 4th at the tender age of 3 months old. My wife also has numerous mental problems which lead her down her path of self-destruction. We have been through so much tragedy and I just feel awful for our other 4 daughters. Pain is contant and it's hard to sleep. Please pray for us. I hope that God heals all our wounds and finally grants us peace.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

James 5:16
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Jeremiah 29:11-15
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile. "Because you have said, 'The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon,'
